Activities

Granit Technologies SA, directly or in collaboration with highly qualified partners, develops, designs and implements original technological solutions for the treatment and the valorization of various types of solid or liquid waste.

(1)  Treatment of liquid organic waste with proprietary Wet Oxidation Process

  1. Treatment of non biodegradable organic sludge from municipal waste water processing plants
  2. Treatment of non biodegradable organic sludge from industry
  3. Recovery of valuable compounds from chemical or pharmaceutical waste organic liquids

(2)   Processing of solid organic waste with proprietary Wet Oxidation Process

  1. Treatment of radioactive resins  from nuclear power plants
  2. Treatment of radioactive organic waste from nuclear power plants, either operating or under de-commissioning
  3. Treatment of other hazardous organic waste from different sources, including hospitals

(3)  Valorisation of waste plastic in diesel fuel

  1. Integrated solutions for solid waste sorting
  2. De-polymerization of plastic waste to produce diesel fuel

Within the above domains, Granit Technologies performs R&D activities, offers its technologies under license arrangements and grants added value services which may include:

  • Performing laboratory tests for the full characterization of  processes
  • Setting up market appraisal, feasibility studies and, based on special simulation models, financial and economic evaluations
  • Elaborating basic engineering, interconnection engineering and, in some framework, detailed engineering
  • Performing risk analyses
  • Granting technical assistance during  erection,  commissioning, start-up and maintenance  of industrial units
  • Training of operators and technicians
  • Setting up of specifically conceived automation programs
  • Selecting/qualifying equipment suppliers and contractors
  • Supporting project sponsors for the proper tuning of partnership arrangements
