(1)  Wet Oxidation of industrial organic sludge : Papéterie du Léman, Thonon France

  • Wet Oxidation installation for processing the effluents from the production of 600’000 t/year of high quality paper paste.

  • Processing of 2.5 m3/hour of non biodegradable organics, elimination of 90% of the organics with a residue 100% biodegradable.

(2)  Wet Oxidation of municipal waste water treatment sludge: STEP, Orbe Switzerland

 

  • Processing of non biodegradable organic sludge from the waste water treatment plant of the Swiss city of Orbe (15’000 equivalent inhabitants)

  • Processing of up to 500 t/year of solids
  • Fully automatic installation operating continuously (24 hours /7 days) with one operator.
  • Elimination of 80% of the organics during the oxidation process and digestion of the remaining organics for methane production.
  • Separation by press filters of the mineral residue for discharge deposit.
  • Granit Technologies deliveries:

o   Initial laboratory tests for the full characterization of the process

o   Full engineering and construction of the installation, with sludge preparation, Wet Oxidation process, gas cleaning process, residue processing.

o   Operation and maintenance of the installation

 

 

(3)  Pilot plant for waste plastic depolymerisation

  • Pilot installation operating at 50 kg/h of waste plastic (polyolefin)

  • Processing of non biodegradable organic sludge from the waste water treatment plant of the Italian city of Rovereto (150’000 equivalent inhabitants)

  • Elimination of 85% of the organics during the oxidation process and digestion of the remaining organics for methane production.

(5)  Mock-up installation for processing organic resins from nuclear power plant

 

  • Design, construction and operation of a mock-up installation of Wet Oxidation process for processing organic resins used to purify water circuits in nuclear power plant.

  • Fully automatic installation for 1 litre / hour flow. Treatment of residual gas and separation of solid phase.
  • A full scale installation has been designed for a nuclear site in Italy (in dismantling phase) in collaboration with Ansaldo Nuclear S.p.A.
